The big white flowers of Cabana White bacopa make it stand out in the garden. This popular trailing tender perennial is an outstanding ornamental for containers and hanging baskets.
South African in origin, it has a luxurious cascading habit and produces masses of five-petaled, snowflake-like flowers of white in profusion all season long. These do not require deadheading, but plants may require an occasional haircut if they become uncomely.
Bacopa prefers full to partial sun and requires rich, evenly moist soil with average drainage. In more southerly climes it will survive as a perennial and may be grown as a ground cover as well as a container plant.
