1st Ince and Elton Scout Group provides Scouting adventures to young people between the ages of 6 and 14 in Elton and surrounding areas (including Ince, Thornton-le-moors and Hapsford).

The current group was founded in 1949 and is part of the Mersey Weaver District within the UK Scout County of Cheshire. Prevoiusly, the group was part of the North West Cheshire District, which was merged with the Widnes District to form a single district called Mersey Weaver.

Fundraising Website

This fundriaisng website officially launches in 2020. The website’s primary function is to offer a simple to use online storefront for our fundraising efforts – namely our annual Plant Sale and online donations, however our hope is to expand this to include event tickets and more over time. The website’s launch follows two years of very successful testing where we opened up our Plant Sale orders online alongside our existing paper order forms.

All funds raised through this website benefits Scouting and our local community, as it helps fund aspects such as large Scouting Activities (such as major camps), large community events (such as our community Bonfire and Fireworks event) and regular maintenance and improvements to our HQ. This also helps keep Scouting affordable for our members.
